Description Adrian Custer 2002-11-15 04:49:47 UTC
Hey all,

Excel has a useful feature which seems like it should be fairly easy to
implement. After a "cut" the right click menu insert entry becomes "insert
cut cells" which does just that.

Columns:
1) A user selects a column
2) right-click menu -> cut
3) select a new column
4) right click menu -> "insert cut cells" (without the ellipsis, therefore
no popup menu)
==> the cut column in inserted to the left of the selected column.

Rows:
essentially the same

Internal blocks:
1) a user selects a range
2) as above
3) select a new cell
4) right click menu -> "insert cut cells..." (with ellipsis)
==> the 'move cells menu pops up'
5) user selects which way to move cells
==> the range is inserted.

cheers,
adrian
