GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 98532
color panel is too small
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: 2.1.2 Synopsis: color panel is too small Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel Description: Description of Problem: When a panel is created with a color background (to be made transparent. . .) and the hid buttons are removed, it's not as wide as a panel "normal" background type. After adding shortcuts, it's difficult (impossible?) to right click -> properties on the panel/click and drag the entire panel. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create a new panel, set it's background to a color, and remove the show/hide buttons. 2. Add some shortcuts/applets to the panel. 3. Try and right click the panel to get to the properties dialog. Actual Results: There is no place left on the panel to get to the properties dialog. Expected Results: Default panel height for a color panel should be larger like the default panel, so that it's possible to click just above/below an icon/applet. How often does this happen? Any time a color panel with no show/hide buttons is created.
