Description Alex Duggan 2002-11-12 03:59:06 UTC
I think the show desktop button should act just like a regular panel
launcher and not like a toggle button like it currently acts. For example,
if I have 20 windows open, I would like to be able to click the show
desktop button to minimize them all, and then click one of them on the task
list to restore it. Currently this is not possible, when you click the
show desktop button and then try to restore one of the windows in the
tasklist applet, all 20 windows are restored.

I think that users are expecting the behaviour you want to see. What
do usability people thing ?
Comment 2 Alex Duggan 2002-11-12 22:06:08 UTC
A standard should be made for this behaviour and added to the HIG so
that all other apps that use the system tray can follow it.

Alex: are you sure you wanted to add this comment to this bug ?
There's no systray here...
