Description of Problem:

Resizing gnome-terminal window while running 'xemacs -nw' over ssh
causes gmone-terminal to crash.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open gnome-terminal and ssh to remote host.
2. xemacs -nw
3. Grab bottom or top resize bar and drag.

Actual Results:
Gnome-terminal crashes.


Expected Results:
Window should resize.


How often does this happen?
Always (at lest at one particular remote host).


Additional Information:
Running Red Hat Linux 8.0 with all available updates.
