Description Muktha 2002-11-09 09:32:30 UTC
Tested on sources from 4th Nov (CVS Head)

1. Invoke two instance of 'Panel preferences' capplet (Desktop preferences
   -> Advanced -> Panel)
2. Change the panel preferences in one instance of the capplet.
   (For eg : Uncheck the 'Close drawer when launcher is clicked' check box
    or change the 'Animation speed' to Fast)
3. The change will not be reflected in the other instance of the panel
   preferences capplet.

The same behaviour is observed in the 'Preferred applications' capplet too.

I'm calling this the "Preferred Applications" bug because the panel
capplet is part of gnome-panel, not control-center.

Reassigning preferred applications bugs into the component that, for some
reason, didn't exist until now. Filter for "Andrew doing reassignment work" to
get rid of this e-mail spam.
