Description Johannes Rohr 2002-11-07 21:35:26 UTC
Package: gnome-panel
Severity: enhancement
Version: 2.0.10
Synopsis: Right click on a menu folder should display the folder's properties.
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel
Bugzilla-Component: Panel

Description:
Description of Problem:

It took me quite a while to find out how to manipulate the properties of
a menu folder. You have to right click on an application and then choose
"full menu" (Vollständiges Menü in German), while right-clicking on
the folder itself doesn't do anything. Just by accident I figured out
that this "full menu" applies to the _folder_ and not the app that I
right-clicked.

In my view, this is illogic and counter-intuitive. In gnome 1.4 you
could IIRC right click on the folder itself. I suggest that this
behaviour be restored.
