GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 97887
Change mouse pointer when loading views
Last modified: 2005-07-11 10:24:04 UTC
It would be nice if nautilus changed the mouse pointer when loading folders (especially for us who do not use the toolbar). I had in mind the mouse pointer mozilla uses when loading web pages (pointer + watch). This pointer will give visual indication that work is being done, however will not block the users interaction with the loading folder or with the window.

Still here with nautilus 2.4.1 => GNOMEVER2.4

This seems fixed for spatilus. Do we want to do this for the browser mode too, or should we just close this?
Of course we want this in browser mode as well. Maybe we should bind a cursor change to the view frame widget (if possible), and display clock + cursor for the rest of the spatial and browser window (toolbar, menu, sidebar).
