gnome terminal seg-faults when doing a 'man find'

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. open gnome terminal (from a button on the bottom task bar)
2. type 'man find'
3. 

Actual Results:
segmentation fault

Expected Results:

Additional Information:
System is red hat 8.0. Using WinAxe from labf as a XServer on Win2000 to
access the linux box.
