This appears similar to bug 87412 and bug 96512.
Was this left UNCONFIRMED for some reason?
eel/pango weirdness. Blah. Traces useful, Alex, Dave?
I am unable to reproduce this with version 2.1.2. I copied files back and forth multiple times both small files and large. Even had several move and copy operation going on simultaneously.

Bug 104305 was using smb, but the stack trace matched very closely. Also note that bug 104305 used version 2.2.0 of nautilus.

Moving to GNOMEVER2.2 since it's still not fixed in 2.2.x
*** Bug 109875 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
This apparently hasn't been seen since 2.2.x. Close it?
Marking as fixed, please reopen if it gets reported again in a version >2.2.x.
