Description Robin Green 2002-11-02 20:39:43 UTC
I can't work out how to select text from a terminal program that uses the
mouse, like "links" (the web browser which can be optionally run in text mode).

I suggest a Select command on the Edit menu to temporarily redirect mouse
input to gnome-terminal for a single selection to be made, and then return
to sending mouse events to the app running in the terminal.

You hold down shift or control, I think.

text apps that use the mouse are such an inherently horrible UI idea
that I don't think we should clutter the menu with stuff to accomodate
them.

Yeah, I just found out you use SHIFT to use the normal select
behaviour (happened to notice a tip on that while reading the pine
help pages). Verifying notabug.
