Description of Problem:
gnome-terminal crashes when invoked from a VNC session.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Run, vncserver -geometry 1280x1023 -depth 24, on the linux server
2. Run vncviewer on the client and connect to the server
3. run, man update, in  a gnome-terminal

Actual Results:

The following Pop-up window appears:

The application gnome-terminal (process 1283) has crased due to a fatal
error (Segmentation fault)

Expected Results:

The update manpage should be displayed

How often does this happen?

Everytime.
