one can't cut&paste non-ASCII_Characters (at least if locale has a
8-bit-Font). This is because the selection has to be converted to UTF-8 for
the the glib-functions and that is not done correctly for non-ASCII

please try libzvt-i18n branch. Cut&paste, input-methods,
fonts are fully i18ned. See bug 78007 for details.

I'll merge the change in libzvt-i18n branch into the HEAD 
when I have a free time.
