Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: galeon Severity: major Version: 1.3 Synopsis: Galeon2 crashes on Gnome User Support forum Bugzilla-Product: galeon Bugzilla-Component: general BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: Upon login to the user forum, a dialog asking if I wanted Galeon2 to remember the form values popped up. I selected 'Yes', upon which Galeon2 decided to crash. This works fine in Galeon1, and Mozilla 1.2b with Xft and gtk2 support enabled. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to gnomedesktop.org and choose the link to the user forums at the top of the page 2. Select the Login link at the top of the page 3. Fill in the login form, click the 'Yes' button when it asks to remember your login credentials. Actual Results: Galeon 2 crashes Expected Results: Galeon should store the form data so you don't have to enter it ever again. How often does this happen? I tried this once... will try a few more times to see if this is a regular occurance Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/galeon-bin' (no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 20987)] [New Thread 16385 (LWP 20991)] [New Thread 8194 (LWP 20992)] [New Thread 16387 (LWP 20993)] [New Thread 24580 (LWP 20994)] [New Thread 65541 (LWP 21002)] 0x40b1b789 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
