Description Peter Colijn 2002-10-21 23:20:38 UTC
This probably has something to do with Gentoo 1.4 using gcc 3.2. On a
freshly installed system with sane CFLAGS (-march=athlon -O2 -pipe) using
1.2.6/moz 1.0.1 Galeon will segfault on a lot of submission forms. Yahoo!
Mail, for example. Go in and try to delete a message; as soon as you push
delete it bombs. Slashdot polls usually bomb too. The search on the Gnome
forums also bombs for me (when I click 'search').

Hope this isn't a duplicate; I looked pretty hard to try to find anything
like it. This is also documented on the Gentoo forums (the "desktop
environment" forum I believe).

The strange part about this is that all these things do work fine in
Mozilla on the same system.
