Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create right edge panel. 2. Add system tray applet 3. *bang* Alternatively (and this is how I found it): 1. login with RH8.0 skeletion home area 2. make the bottom edge panel a right edge panel 3. logout (save session) 4. login 5. *bang* This happens every time you add to the panel/login with a save session.
