Description Tobias Hunger 2002-10-06 12:04:53 UTC
Takes about 12-15% here, doing nothing much... How often does it update?
once every 10 or 20 secounds would be enough for me. Maybe this could be
editable via gconf?

Hi,

OS: RedHat 8.0

I am experiencing the same problem. I have a Sony Vaio Laptop (PCG FX
502)
running vanilla 2.4.19 + acpi-patch (for 2.4.19) + swsusp (for 2.4.19)

It's a 1ghz machine with 256 RAM, when starting the battstat_applet I
notice the
CPU Usage for the applet is at 30% constantly..

Please advise when/if a Patch will be available.

If you need me to do any tests , I will be glad to try and help
diagnose the
problem.

Thanks
David Jacobson
