Description:
I downloaded this Ximian movie: ncftpget
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/ximian/playground/codemonkey.mpg

Started up mplayer to play the movie:

mplayer codemonkey.mpg

And Gnome Panel crashed.

Gnome Panel seems to crash when I load graphics-heavy files such as
movies and .pdf files.

Known crash with no fix in 1.4.x. The problem is not there in 2.0.x
