Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. ? Unlocked the screen from Xscreensaver 2. 3. Actual Results: Expected Results: How often does this happen? once so far Additional Information: This is a brand new RedHat 8.0 install on an Athlon 800MHz, 1280x1024x24. I had recently changed the screen resolution and relogged in. Interestingly the RedHat up2date icon which normally resides near the right of hte panel next to the date was only about 2 pixels wide. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel' (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 1280)] 0x420ae169 in wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
