Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: 2.0.6 Synopsis: panel crashes when adding "notification area" applet Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: panel will crash on my RH8 system when I try to add the notification area applet Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. right click on panel, then go thru steps to add "notificaiton area" applet 2. 3. Actual Results: panel crashes, then restarts with no "notification area" Expected Results: I'm not sure, but I think I should have someting called the notification area in my panel. How often does this happen? twice in a row now. Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel' (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 21700)] 0x420ae169 in wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
