it does not start, it crashes with a segmentation fault. It worked
correctly until yesterday, when I have to rebooted since I changed my root
file system from ext2 to ext3. Since then, it crashes. I have debian woody
with all security updates.

Fixed in later versions. This will also be fixed in Debian 3.0r1.
