Drag and drop of what, in what situation? It works for me. libzvt or vte?
Detailed Description of the problem: Open gedit, and type something... Now highlight the text you entered and drag the text into gnome-terminal. You would see that the text is copied onto gnome-terminal.. But when you do the other way i.e. from gnome-terminal to gedit and between two gnome-terminals DnD doesn't work. Note: All the above observations are seen in libzvt. AFAIK, this feature is possible only in dtterm (CDE application) and no other terminal apps does this. Havoc, Does Vte has this feature?
Ah, dnd of the selection. This looks unimplemented in vte at least.
I'd suggest, Pasu, that the correct thing to do is to file enhancement requests against both vte and zvt, and that it then get fixed in gnome-terminal when the terminal widgets support it (if they should.)

Actually there's nothing to do in g-t for this; all that's needed is vte to support this directly, which is bug 404677. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 404677 ***
