GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 94274
Panel Crashed on startup
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: 1.4.0.4 Synopsis: Panel Crashed on startup Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel Description: I'm using Redhat 7.3, and I got the message as GNOME was starting up. I believe it may have also crashed when I was shutting my machine down the day before, but it was hard to tell. I had been having other problems with GNOME as well. For example, I would log in, everything would look fine, then sawfish would die, and I had to restart it. Then when I logged in yesterday, the clock applet was gone and the battery monitor applet in the panel became inoperable. I re-added the clock just fine, but when I removed and re-added the batter monitor, it was still inoperable (strange icon, preferences item not available in the menu).
