GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 94032
gpilotd crashed with segmentation fault on setup
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-pilot Severity: normal Version: 0.1.64 Synopsis: gpilotd crashed with segmentation fault on setup Bugzilla-Product: gnome-pilot Bugzilla-Component: applet Description: Every time I run the gpilot applet (or the equivalent command line commands), I end up getting a seg fault. The applet first notices that I am a first time user and takes me through the setup screens but then after the last setup screen, I get the infamous seg fault. I wonder whether there are some permission issues here, since this crash doesn't seem to happen when I launch under root. I am running a pretty straightforward RH7.3 system and was just trying to get my Palm to sync. Debugging Information: (no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 1024 (LWP 5603)] 0x406f74b9 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
