Hi, I was working on someone's system, trying to get gnome-pilot to work, and received this crash. At first the permissions were not set correctly, so I added his user account to the uucp group, and re-logged in. I used pilot-xfer to backup the Palm, so I know that part works. When going through the setup wizard I chose "Yes, I've used sync software with this pilot before", and the wizard crashed when I clicked [ Next ]. In order to get things working I hard-reset the palm to erase all the data, then I used the "No, I've never used sync software with this pilot before" option. Everything worked find then.
