Description Carsten Menke 2002-09-18 00:04:16 UTC
Nautilus 2.0.7 build as part of Gnome 2.0.2 with tarballs from Sep 15th.

When I move the mouse over an mp3 I see the little bubble appearing but I
do not hear anything. It's not my sound setup, because when I change the
View Mode to "View as Music" I can perfectly listen to the music.

BTW, great feature the "View as Music", only that the scrolling could be
a lot faster.

I can't duplicate.
Comment 2 Carsten Menke 2002-09-18 18:28:17 UTC
I don't know on what the "preview" relates, but I just want to tell
that I have no mpg123 nor xmms or any other third party mp3 player
installed. Due to that the "View as Music" plays the Music I think the
preview should technically also work.
Comment 3 David Kennedy 2002-11-01 20:52:59 UTC
Without mpg123, preview won't work. "View as Music" playing is
unrelated (I believe it has it's own copy of mpg123).

See 47373 about why preview shouldn't silently fail if mpg123 isn't found.
