Description Anand 2002-09-04 14:54:07 UTC
I'm running the September 3rd gnome sources. I'm really not sure if this
is really a bug or not. Nevertheless, thought i'll post this. Please
close, if this isn't a valid problem.

I ran nautilus from the command line by providing the "-c" (or --check)
options, which says that "Perform a quick set of self-check tests".

I got the following message:

====================================================
running nautilus_self_check_search_uri
running nautilus_self_check_file_utilities
running nautilus_self_check_file_operations
running nautilus_self_check_directory
running nautilus_self_check_file

FAIL: check failed in nautilus-file.c, line 5311
      evaluated: nautilus_file_get_name (file_1)
       expected: :
            got: NULL
running nautilus_self_check_icon_container
running nautilus_self_check_icon_factory
====================================================

Is this an expected thing to happen?
