GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 91467
Sefault during scaning
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: rhythmbox Severity: normal Version: 0.3.0 Synopsis: Sefault during scaning Bugzilla-Product: rhythmbox Bugzilla-Component: General BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: The first time I opened rhythmbox (after clearing my settings from the last release), I set my music folder to the correct location, where over 15G of music resides. After that, while rhythmbox appears to be scanning, it hangs at about ~4G. If I try to play a file, it will crash instead of hang. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open rhythmbox. 2. While rhymbox is (again) scaning the folders, attempt to play a file. 3. Wait for segfault. Actual Results: Segfault. Expected Results: Not segfault. Play music. Finish indexing my archive. How often does this happen? Every single time. Additional Information: Version bundled in Garnome 0.13.1. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/home/elliot/garnome/bin/rhythmbox' [New Thread 1024 (LWP 32280)] [New Thread 2049 (LWP 32281)] [New Thread 1026 (LWP 32282)] [New Thread 2051 (LWP 32283)] [New Thread 3076 (LWP 32284)] 0x409085e9 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
