Description Victor Porton 2002-08-12 20:55:17 UTC
When I select an empty line, both the the selection and the cursor become
completely invisible.
Comment 1 Evert Verhellen 2002-09-20 18:26:06 UTC
I would like to add that any kind of selection does hide the cursor.
It is difficult to keep track of the selection when whitespace (either
horizontally or vertically) is involved.

Therefore, I think that the cursor should be kept visible while a user
selects text. As a side note, NEdit supports this feature.
Comment 2 Victor Porton 2002-09-21 03:08:06 UTC
It is not enough to keep cursor always visible. If only this,
selection of an empty line would be inditinguishable from an
empty selection.

A fix is attached to bug 90435.
