Description Michael Gratton 2002-08-09 07:44:27 UTC
Nautilus will mis-interpret two single clicks on two different icons as a
double click on the second icon if the second click is made within the
double-click timeout period. This shouldn't happen.

To reproduce: Click on an icon, then click on a second icon *very* quickly,
within the double-click timeout interval.

Actual results: The second icon will be selected and opened.
Expected results: The second icon will be selected only.

Personally, I find this very annoying as I tend to absent-mindedly click on
icons as I'm looking at when searching through them, so I get a lot of
icons accidently opened.

This is an issue for both the icon and list views, and possibly others.
