GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 90277
gnome panel error running gnome-session remotely over exceed 7.0.0.1
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-session Severity: normal Version: 1.4.0.4 Synopsis: gnome panel error running gnome-session remotely over exceed 7.0.0.1 Bugzilla-Product: gnome-session Bugzilla-Component: gnome-session Description: I ran /usr/bin/gnome-session --display $DISPLAY from home to a machine at work (running a clean install of RedHat Linux 7.3) and got an error that the gnome panel failed to load and got a fatal error. I have an ADSL connection from my home to the office which supports 1.5M/256K. I do not know what caused the problem. It was successful enough, however, to make it to a desktop and pop up a graphical bug buddy window. I assume this error is replicable, but I am submitting this report even though this is the first time I've seen it.
