works for me, but I'm on dialup. Did you try to select Update from the right click menu?
NEEDINFOing after Kevin's question. ajh?
Doesn't seem to work. This is often the case when I move from home network to office and IP change without rebooting as well. I need to remove it from the panel and re-add it,b ut the ahem fine software doesn't remember its settings then either....
Andrew: Thanks for the update. I'll reopen this bug. Also, setting version->2.0.x. I'm wondering if maybe the summary should be changed to highlight the fact that you're actually changing IP addresses by moving your machine rather than just having the network go down and back up? Anyone else have thoughts on this?
This should also be moved to gnome-vfs since that is what gtik uses to get info from the network
Is this still an issue in 2.2?
Isn't it a dupe of #76283 ?
