I have verified this as fixed in suns beta2 build2 from CVS on 6t
august. Marking as verified

Bala, Iain - I do have some questions -

1) When an invalid path is set for the CD Player Device a message is
displayed in the cdplayer app "No disc" - Could we change this to
something more informative?

For Example:
"There is no disc found at the specified device path - check there is
a cd in the cdrom drive or check that the device path is valid and set
to the current cdrom drive"

2) When the cdplayer app is started would it be possible to get the
cdplayer to check the current cdrom device path and set this in for
the user?

I am just trying to think from the perspective of someone who doesn't
know much about unix and/or where/how to set the path to the cdrom.

Calum - from a usability perspective what do you think?

Thanks Shane for verifying. The point that we get the audio device
only when there is a CD in the drive,is the limitation for all these.
But I guess we can overcome this also. Can we open a new bug for
this 2 questions and mark it as enhancement because I don't know
how fast we can do this.
