dia -e foo.png foo.dia
does not work in batch mode, i.e. without a valid DISPLAY and a running X11
server.

But this command is useful in batches, e.g. Makefiles (consider that
foo.dia is under CVS, but not foo.png, and the dia export is done nightly).
