Description marc-bug-buddy 2002-07-13 16:57:45 UTC
Package: galeon
Severity: minor
Version: 1.2.5
Synopsis: If tab A reloads, tab B looses the keyboard focus it previously held
Bugzilla-Product: galeon
Bugzilla-Component: User interface

Description:
1. Open an auto-reloading page in tab A (e.g., www.cnn.com)
2. Open another page in tab B
3. Note that you can scroll up and down with the arrow keys in tab B
4. Wait for tab A to auto-reload (don't change tabs, though)
5. arrow keys don't work anymore in tab B

You can simply click on tab B to retain keyboard focus, but in an
environment where there are many tabs open to auto-reloading pages, it
can be annoying to be scrolling though a page and then have keyboard
focus suddenly go away.
