Description Jonathan Kamens 2002-07-11 15:58:29 UTC
I looked over and over but could not find a menu item for merging cells.
Is it there and I just missed it, or is there really no menu item for this,
just the button in the toolbar? If there's no menu item, there should be
one.

Hmm, MS Excel does not have one. any thoughts on where to put it ?
I'm not enthused with adding Format -> Merge _and_ Format -> Unmerge

That menu is already too large.

Sorry, I don't have any ideas. It just seems to me that there should
be one.

A possible solution has been incorporated in the menu change proposal
