GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 87331
Mouse motion "Defaults" button
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: control-center Severity: normal Version: 2.0.0 Synopsis: Presets for Mouse Motion Bugzilla-Product: control-center Bugzilla-Component: mouse Description: Description of Problem: Shouldn't there at least be presets for the "Speed" and "Drag and Drop" settings on the motion tab? Something along the lines of how IRIX does it... Not that IRIX is a great example of a UI, but just the fact that If I screw up the settings, I can quickly get back to something reasonible. As it stands now, I am reluctant to touch the mouse settings, at all, for fear of never quite getting back what I had before (short of blowing away my configuration files). ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2002-07-04 09:24 ------- Reassigning to the default owner of the component, control-center-maint@bugzilla.gnome.org.
Has this changed in the later releases?
no? I can't seem to find a later release than 2.0.0. Under the Motion tab the Mouse Preferences interface still does not have a preset "button or slider" that allows for quick an easy selection of several common or typical mouse acceleration/sensitivity settings.
