To create a keyboard shortcut: 1. Open a new diagram... 2. Right click on the diagram, go to tools menu, highlight an item (text or ellipse tried) 3. Press a key combination (like ctrl-alt-t or ctrl-alt-e) 4. Exit the tool menu 5. Press the newly-defined key combination, and dia will crash.
