Description Daniel Persson 2002-06-29 00:28:41 UTC
Description of Problem:

Nautilus has always lacked a history view in the location bar (just like
Galeon, Netscape, Explorer and many other filehandlers, ftpclient, and web
browsers).
For now, one has to go down to the left corner, choose "History" and then
move mouse up to the right corner and find the old bookmark one are looking
for.

It would be a HUGE enhancment for the overall Nautilus experience if the
"History" where removed and replaced by a "standard" history view in the
location bar.(or both)

This way, one fast will be able to go back to and old directory, website or
whatever one have visited before and quickly choose it.

Expected Results:

Smoother, simpler and more "expected" behavior from the Nautilus browsing
experience.

All things old are new again :) Definitely something we want to see at
some point.
