Description of Problem:

All I tried to do is change the desktop fonts and the
gnome-font-properties app. crashed

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. click Applications
2. click Desktop Preferences
3. click Font
4. CRASH!

running garnome 0.12.0 compiled with gcc-3.1
