So far I can't reproduce this consistently. It just happens very often. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: Expected Results: How often does this happen? Every few minutes. This seems to happen when I click on an item in the Desktop Preferences, but not consistently - i.e. For some item sometimes Nautilus will crash and sometimes it won't. In any case, the item always gets activated (i.e. the appropriate dialog comes up) and only then Nautilus crashes.
Your second comments were the clincher, thanks. This is definitely a dup of #84693. It's been fixed, so the RC2 tarball should be OK. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 84693 ***
