GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 86199
Pan crashes on second load, Japan locale
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Pan under KDE3.0 obtained from the Mandrake Linux site. I have a login account set up on my machine for Japanese locale. The first time I loaded Pan within this login, it came up fine. The next time I loaded it, Pan crashed during the load. I tried to tinker with settings found under $HOME/.pan and $HOME/.kde, to no avail. I then used rm -rf .pan to remove all Pan files within my home directory. The next time I loaded Pan, it came up fine. But when I exited and tried to load it again, once again the crash, with a segmentation violation error message. Any idea what might be the problem? Any suggestions on what to try or look for? The machine is a Gateway Pentium 4, 1.6 GHz, with Linux on a second hard drive. WinME (rarely used) is on the first HD. I think the Mandrake 8.2 is for i586 rather than i686, but maybe I got the first version where some packages were compiled (in error) for the i686. jim beard jdbeard@asus.net
Which version is this ? Is this 0.10.0 like the bug report says ?
This was fixed in 0.11.3. If you're seeing this in later releases, please re-open this bugreport. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 78244 ***
