Some of the italic words are cut off on the left of horizontal sliders. See
for instnace:

Destop Prefs -> Keyboard -> keyboard tab:
the "slow" is cut off

Mouse -> motion tab
"slow", "Low" and "Small" are cut off

This is a gtk or pango bug, probably pango.
