Description kgirard 2002-06-16 14:24:13 UTC
My Stuff:

Machine: P2 350
Debian unstable
Release: GARNOME-0.11 (gnome-applets-2.0.0)

The grouping feature of the WindowList seems to only work on selected types
of windows. It works great for gnome-terminal, galeon, nautilus and a few
others but it doesn't group Nedit Windows, any thing from gnome-games,
gnumeric and the majority of any other applications that I run.

Steps to repeat:

1. Right click on window list
2. Click on Preferences....
3. Under Window Grouping select "Always group windows"
4. Click "Close"
5. Open Two Nautilus Windows (notice they group)
6. Open Two Gnects (notice they don't group)
Comment 1 Havoc Pennington 2002-07-29 14:03:22 UTC
The grouping is by process, not window type, at the moment.
Already open as a bug (need to find the dup).

You can just cc: me when you have a question like that, Havoc ;)
