Description Shane O'Connor 2002-06-12 09:32:38 UTC
testing on ultra 10 with solaris 8

I started gnome-session and opened the following apps in the following
       workspaces:

       workspace app
       -------- -----
       1 gnome-calculator
       2 gedit
       3 eye of gnome

When I logged out and in eye of gnome did not start.

This works fine for me on Linux.

Did EOG create a session file? It should be ~/.gnome2/eog-XXXXX,
where XXXXX is a random string.

I'm marking this a duplicate of #85216. I just found that bug and it
is pretty sucky.

EOG is not session aware. If I start EOG and the log out (saving
session) when I
log in EOG is not started. There is no session file for EOG in
~/.gnome2 BUT there is reference in the session file:

xprop output for eog before exiting and saving session
