Description donscarletti 2002-06-03 08:19:33 UTC
Package: esound
Severity: major
Version: 0.2.26
Synopsis: Esd makes Nautilus Music View Crash
Bugzilla-Product: esound
Bugzilla-Component: general

Description:
Description of Problem:
With esd 0.2.26 the Nautilus Music View stopps responding at the end of
each song. This is however not the case with esd 0.2.22 where it behaves
perfectly.
(yes I have tried different versions of Nautilus, it's not to blame)

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Select a folder full of MP3s and select Nautilus Music View
2. Select a song and hit play
3. Skip to near the end and let song finish (or just play the song
through)
4. Repeat steps two and three if nautilus-music-view does not crash

Actual Results:
The music viewer stops responding until either:
1) It is killed
2) Esd is killed in which case it just goes on to the next track

Expected Results:
The viewer should just progress to the next track

How often does this happen?
About five in six times

Additional Information:
I tried installing ESound 0.2.22 and it works prefectly
When using debugging information esd simply goes into its dormant state
as per usual and stays there
