Nautilus crash on initial launch
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: nautilus Severity: normal Version: 1.1.17 Synopsis: Nautilus crash on initial launch Bugzilla-Product: nautilus Bugzilla-Component: general BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (1.117.1) Description: Description of Problem: After logging into Gnome, panel gets painted, then Nautilus crashes. Seems to happen right before you would expect nautilus to paint the background, because the gdm colored screen is cleared, the background goes grey, and before nautilus paints the background crash appears. Randomly occurs. After the crash, nautilus respawns properly after clicking cancel on the crash dialog. Steps to reproduce the problem: Generally not reproducable. How often does this happen? Maybe every third time gnome starts-up fresh. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/opt/garnome/bin/nautilus' [New Thread 1024 (LWP 5113)] [New Thread 2049 (LWP 5118)] [New Thread 1026 (LWP 5119)] [New Thread 2051 (LWP 5120)] 0x40b40319 in __wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
