panel crash when changing themes

Package: gnome-panel Severity: critical Version: 1.5.22 Synopsis: panel crash when changing themes Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (1.117.1) Description: Description of Problem: the panel crash while I browse through the themes (dialog: GTK+ Theme Preferences) Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the preferences 2. Select themes 3. Try different themes, after 3 or 4 changes, the panel crashes How often does this happen? Almost everytime Additional Information: I have limebubble and ThinIce installed among my themes, if it's relevant. I did not notice that this happened with a particular theme though. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel' [New Thread 1024 (LWP 2501)] 0x408f0319 in __wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6

after further investigation, "Crux" is definitely involved. step: select default, then crux, then back to default -> crash everytime
