Package: sawfish Severity: major Version: sawfish-2000-05-02 Synopsis: Window Appearance Lockup Bugzilla-Product: sawfish Bugzilla-Component: Config Tool Description: Description of Problem: Whenever making any changes in the Window Appearance, the system will essentially freeze due to 100% CPU utilization AFTER it makes the changes correctly. (Note that I am using an Athlon 1Ghz with 512Mb ram on a Debian SID distro). Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Start gnome-control-center 2. Goto Advanced 3. Click on Window Appearance 4. Make any kind of modification and the change will take place but CPU will run at 100% (rep is using up all the resources) and all windows will be unresponsive. Actual Results: Sawfish lockup essentually. Expected Results: To see the changes and be able to close the window. How often does this happen? EVERYTIME Additional Information: Fresh garnome-0.10 installation with the .gnome and .gnome2 folders deleted. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2002-05-20 22:48 ------- Unknown version unspecified in product sawfish.
