GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 82345
[PATCH] port the sound preview to monkeymedia (gstreamer)
Last modified: 2006-12-26 18:29:40 UTC
This patch ports the musicview to MonkeyMedia (a music playback library on top of gstreamer, lives in monkey-sound cvs module), advantages are support for Ogg Vorbis, soundserver-independance, and i also added support for automatically progressing to the next song when the current one finished playing.

making priority high, but this really can't be applied until 2.2 when hopefully gstreamer will become a core gnome-desktop library.
Created attachment 9051 [details] [review] new patch. This one also ports the sound preview and playback code.

jorn can you make another copy of the sound preview patch and open a new bug for that and close this one.
Changing name of this to something more correct
Jorn? Still there?
well to the best of my knowledge monkey media has been integrated into the rhythmbox codebase itself and is no longer a seperate package. I'm pretty sure this code is stale, so closing wontfix.
