Description antrjv1 2002-05-11 20:57:22 UTC
Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: 1.1.15
Synopsis: wallpaper/background does not change properly
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Desktop

Description:
Description of Problem: Gnome-2 Wallpaper Tool changes the background,
but Nautilus does not respect the change. This worked flawlessly in the
previous Gnome-2 snapshot.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Change Background Using "Applications-->Desktop
Preferences-->Background"
2. Log Off
3. Log In

Actual Results: The wallpaper that you chose displays for a second and
then Nautilus covers it up with default Gnome-2 Background and its
icons.

Expected Results: The wallpaper should replace the default Gnome-2
background

How often does this happen? Every time

Gentoo's providing GNOME2 snaps. That's awesome!

There was an embarassing omission from the tarball which will be fixed
in the next release. Thanks for the report.
